July 31st within the Potter estate had been, at first, a mass cause for a celebration. Magical twins were rare, even rarer when born of opposite genders. But all good things must eventually make way for the dark.
A 'prophesy' brought forth the fear and uncertainty. 15 months later, upon a late Samhain eve, an attack took place. Then when a choice- the wrong choice - between two infants is made, so too is the fate of the wizarding world.

Morgana looked dead ahead, the goblin, highly unnerved by the young witches almost statue-like stillness as she processed what she just saw. This was supposed to be her second chance at life. Her dearest friend and brother in all but blood had granted her the choice. After all the wrong she'd done after losing herself to vengeance against her true father Uther, and unfortunately her naively trusting half-brother Arthur. She had been certain that her passing would be filled with pain and loneliness, and yet, Merlin was in fact, still her Merlin, her dearest friend.
'A second chance. To know the love and life you've been denied.' he had said hoping against hope that she would be the girl he'd loved as a sister again. She knew he didn't have faith in her.
