From The Streets To The Heart

Jhene Aiko played in the background as we laid on the bed enjoying each other's company. I caressed her back and rubbed her butt taking in this beautiful moment.
"Don't leave me please, I love the life we have built and I hope that it doesn't come to an end now," she said with uncertainty in her voice, like if she still clung onto that fear that someday this will all end.

"I told you mama, I'm here forever. I'm going to protect and love you until i take my last breath. I don't mind reassuring you as long as you know that i'm here to talk and that i will always be here," I said trying to sound calm and collected, because even though I was, that same fear creeped into my mind here and there. I too am scared that I will loose something so great.

I felt her relax under me as Jhene kept playing in the background
"It's the sweet little nothings that's all I need to keep me here"
Just like she said... the sweet little moments that to others feel like nothing and to me are so grand keep me here, and for once in my life i've felt true peace.
