I use to live a normal life, though nobody wanted to hang out with me or be my friends because they think I'm a spirit loving freak. What's so wrong with respecting mythical creatures and scaring away people whom were disrespecting their lands and poisoning nature.

But then fate had begun to be cruel when I died by a storm, digging the Kohaku river back to it's original beauty since nobody made it a tourist attraction anymore. But I gladly accepted my fate, knowing the River spirit will be happy to have his home back to it's splendor.

But then destiny stepped in, and brought me and another soul, Carly Carmine, another chance, fused as one while in her body, connecting us with her Dark Signer self's deck's monsters and Earthbound Immortal, having powers to make them come to life and see duel spirits and everything else. Along having a new friend of a number card.

And into a world I've never seen before, For my life in this world has just begun.

Today I want to die. Not because of anything in particular or specific, but just because the utter thought of ceasing to exist sounds devastatingly euphoric. To make the noise stop. To stop this stabbing pain in the lowest pit of my stomach that's causing a burning sensation that crawls all over my skin, making me want to peel it off. To stop the guilt that festers every time I take a breath-- an oxygen thief. To stop the constant urge to detonate over anything and everything that dares to love me because in all-- I could never deserve such an honor. Today I want to die. For the longest time, I thought I was just unlucky. That sometimes life doesn't work out for everyone, and for people like me; things just never get better. I had settled into the life of being unlucky, reveled in it, and found comfort in knowing that no matter what; I would just be categorically unlucky. That was until I realized luck had nothing to do with it. It's karma. It's the idea of what goes around comes around, and what goes up must come down. Didn't some philosopher speak to that once? However, it isn't my karma. Well it wasn't at first-- somewhere down the line after all my wrongdoing I'm sure it has switched to mine. But I am the poor soul stuck with my father's karmic retaliation. The karma that he deserves has been thrown against me as some sort of sick cosmic joke-- I'm sure he'd actually celebrate and feast on the fact that once again, he still gets to hurt me even from his grave. Too bad I killed him before he had the chance to see. *Book One in the Karma Duet. Book Two is now in progress, titled: The Karma Study*

[NOTE: I have left this fic and am currently rewriting a new version of it. It may have slightly different story, but hopefully the outcome will end up the same. On the offchance that this is better than my rewrite, I've left it up for others to read. However, please know that I may not ever update this fic anymore, so I have marked it as a completed fic. Also, this is based on a combination of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Japanese version of the anime, as well as the three story games for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's; World Championship 2009 Stardust Accelerator, World Championship 2010 Reverse of Arcadia, and World Championship 2011 Over The Nexus.] The Weather Painters have been passed on to a new Duelist. In a world where Signers are given signature Synchro Dragons to save the world, the Weather Painters must adapt to the new situation, and the legacy of card creators continues. Awoken by a searing pain on her arm, a young girl finds herself lost and stranded in the Satellite with no memory of her past. The only thing that comes to mind is the special deck of cards she must protect, as well as the rules of the Duel. Although lonely and afraid, she must remember her name and past in order to change the future of Satellite and New Domino City. Read on as she progresses to learn about Turbo Duels, the Satellite and New Domino City, and befriends more and more people to support her as she takes her first steps into a world of the unknown. (You don't have to have read GX: Hope Spectrum before this, but this takes place after that story, just like 5D's took place before GX. I only own the main character and a few of her cards, but not all of them. Please enjoy! :D)
