My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic -- Season One

Melody was always a bit of a loner. Her only real friend outside of her family was Rainbow Dash and as a filly she instead threw herself into music. She taught it, sure, but she wouldn't call any of her fellow musicians "friends" more "acquaintances".

When Twilight Sparkle moved into Ponyville, a place where Melody had lived for less than a year with her sister while her parents traveled, everything in Melody's world turned upside down: all of a sudden her life was filled with friendship lessons, an evil mythical alicorn bent on vengeance and four little fillies who would do whatever it took to get their cutie marks.
