The creature stared me down but I knew there was no danger. This does not mean there was nothing to fear. I felt his eyes glide over my chunky figure and meet my gaze. I felt a strange need to touch it. to rub it's ears like a puppy, I chuckled from the irony of my thoughts but was clearly froze as his massive body tensed and leaned in my direction. I raised my shaky hand feeling the heat radiate off his fur. I was so focused, beyond focused, I could see each strand of his fur as I connected with it. * flashes* of war, a cabin, people and wolves, a strange body mangled but alive, the moon and a sparkle so heavenly as I fade out and hit the ground. I lost every sense for a second feeling the ground under me. the wolf stands over me as a loud roar escapes the clearing to my left. "MINE!" I widened my eyes feeling as if they'd pop out my skull. Holy fucking shit it talked!!! I shook my head as if I was dreaming but nothing changed. " She isn't here for that. she needs to come with us."

"This way," Damien said. He led me outback and into the woods a little where the dream of my mom came back into my mind, but when Damien started to take his clothes off, I backed away. "What are you doing?" I asked him. "Do you trust me?" He asked with just his pants on. My eyes stayed on him and I nodded. My hand hid my eyes as he took of his pants and stood in his boxers. I kept my hand there and suddenly I felt a wetness on my hand. A high pitched scream left my lips as I backed up and fell. There was a wolf the size of a car in front of me. It was a dark brown. His head hung low and he put his large paws at my feet. His front body crouched down so we were at eye level. My heart raced and my stomach dropped to the ground. My chest raised and lowered at a fast pace and I wanted to scream again. "D-Damien?" I asked softly after I looked into those deep blue, almost black eyes. He lowered his head even more and put it on my knees.
