Nearly twelve years after Sandra DeMorris's cold case was closed, Vendetta Ventura, the eldest daughter of missing Head Detective Draven Ventura, finds that she's been serendipitously reunited with her siblings, Cato, Lauralai, and Delancey. Looking for an easy Senior Project, she decides to further investigate the murder of Sandra DeMorris and the disappearance of her father. She recruits the rest of her family in a thrilling mystery filled with head-turning twists and tragic endings. The four of them, a writer, a nerd, a performer, and a millionaire, work tirelessly to find out all they can, and find out far more than they want to.
