Will Solace is a Sophomore at Jupiter University studying medical science. Being the part time hero, Sun Shift, he can't spare the time to get a job and pay his dorm rent.
Nico di Angelo is a Freshman at Jupiter University studying Geography. He's also a part time villain, the notorious Ghost King. He too can't afford a single room dorm.
These two become roommates, both unknowing that the other is his arch-nemesis.

Midnight Coffee
Nico works night shifts at a 24/7 coffee shop by himself since nights are slow. He's also full-time at college, when he's 'working', he has the opportunity to do homework; however, he prefers to just read. He never told people about his sexuality (for personal reasons) until it was suddenly revealed in front of one person: his acquaintance, Jason. Not even Nico's sister knew yet, but now he is forced to deal with this friend of a friend, who knows his secret. At work one night, he and his mythology book are interrupted by someone actually coming into the shop. Who could need a coffee at midnight? Midnight Coffee shares its storyline with my book Coffee at Midnight, these are written to play with different perspectives in storytelling. Midnight Coffee was written first, is told strictly from Nico's perspective, and has a cast of Percy Jackson characters. Coffee at Midnight is told strictly from Will's perspective, has a cast of Magnus Chase characters, and includes bonus scenes between the two. These stories are set in a world with no gods or demigods. Will and Nico were both born in the mid-90s (this story is set in 2015). These are fanfiction based on the Percy Jackson franchise. Nico Di Angelo's school is taking the whole junior year on a trip to Greece. Following the no gender mingling school policy, Nico groups with his best buds Percy Jackson and Jason Grace. All is well and good before Will Solace joins their bubble. Nico gets a strange, tingly, ticklish feeling in his stomach when he's around Will. It doesn't help when they have to pair off to explore the Parthenon and Percy and Jason take off, leaving Nico alone with Will. It also doesn't help when the two boys decide to share a bed at the hotels. If he was even a little more spiteful, he would start committing real crimes-not just the minor break-ins he's been charged with so far. The Ghost King is a supervillain, but luckily there's a superhero here to protect you from him. Sunburst spends his days chasing after the Ghost King, cursing the Ghost King for making him skip school to go defend the city, and bickering with the Ghost King. Will Solace is sure that he's going to be the one to finally get the bounty for the Ghost King. The Ghost King is a supervillain. So why won't he hurt anyone? The Ghost King is the city's only supervillain--so who is this new villain, and how can Nico and Will survive them? The Ghost King is a supervillain, which is why Will Solace is feeling a little bit ridiculous to be blushing when they touch.
