I could feel him getting closer to me. My back was facing him, and I could feel his breath fanning on my shoulder's skin, indicating how close we had become.
"I have been involved with it since birth, I've been adapted to it now," I continue, my voice getting calmer but it seemed like I forced myself to talk.
"But I'm not adapted to that side of you," he whispered into my ear in a soft tone for the first time since I met him.
