When someone attempts to assassinate him, Yuno Kagima realizes it could only mean one thing, someone is trying to take control of the gates, yeah, those ones, the gates of hell. Yuno, being one of the last descendants of the clan responsible for forging the gates, makes him and anyone with even a trace of his family's blood bound to the gates. Meaning in order for whomever is attempting to take control of the gates to succeed, every last living decendant of the forgotten Kagima Clan must be killed. So not just Yuno but now some familiar faces back in the Seireitei are also in danger and don't even fully realize that they carry with them the blood of a long lost nobel clan...

*FYI this takes place about a year or so after the events of the 1000 Year Blood War Arc
