Stubborn and loyal Princess Kathryn of Maelden is the heir to the largest and most influential kingdom on the continent. Kathryn will do anything to ensure the well being of the kingdom that's fate will someday rest on her shoulders. From the age of fourteen, Kathryn knows she will have to make many sacrifices for her kingdom. Ruling over the people means it is her duty to do what's best for Maelden.

When Kathryn is abducted the night before her wedding, her parents, the King and Queen, along with the people of Maelden, believe that their princess has abandoned them. The five neighboring kingdoms demand that if the princess does not return within one moon, on Kathryn's eighteenth birthday, her betrothed will be named the undisputed heir to the throne of Maelden, or there will be war.

Who has kidnapped the heir of Maelden? Will she escape? Will Princess Kathryn return to her duties when she finds a reason and a way to be free? Which of the six kingdoms wants war?

The Exiled Gem

96 parts Complete

Exiled from her own land - to be executed if she ever returns, Princess Alexandra finds herself turning a spy for the enemy. Because, well, they impress her. Especially the splendid emperor, who is indebted to Alexandra for a number of things he wouldn't tell. She doesn't mind that - because life just turns a lot more colorful outside the Palace walls - until one (not so) fine day, she realizes that the emperor no longer *only* impresses her. Unfortunately, the course of true love never runs smooth. And before she can even give herself a chance with Liam, Alexandra has to sort a few things out. Namely, all the mistakes the previous generation did. **The story starts from 339 B.C. but language used is completely modern because I don't know Ancient Greek**
