Jacob has lived a wretched, terrible life. Growing up in Britain is a nightmare he'd just as soon forget, so he moves to America and attempts to do exactly that. He doesn't know what he's looking for, but damn it, he's going to find it. He's funny though, so at least he's got that going for him, right? 

Adam is a trans man in a trans loathing world. Depression has come for him at every turn, and after being rejected by his one true love, being dead, he's put into impatient intensive care for six months. When he makes it out, he wants to make something of the only talent he feels he has, music.
