After being bitten by a genetically engineered spider, young Peter Parker finds that he now has incredibly enhanced strength, speed and agility. Along with the ability to adhere to any surface, a precognitive spider-sense that warns him of danger and a pair of mechanized web shooters, the idealistic teenager fights against evil as the costumed hero Spider-Man.
Set during the decade of the 1990's, this is a Generation X version of the Amazing Spider-Man story. This is a time when young people believed that they had the power to change the world for the better. In order to make a difference, Peter will need to rely on his friends for help and have the courage to believe in good.

LAST ISSUE:
Spider-Man foiled Adrian Toomes' attempt at stealing the Z-99 Nuclear Reactor. However, his brutal fight with the menacing Rhino left him battered, bloodied and in desperate need of medical attention. Luckily, Mary Jane Watson was able to arrive at Roosevelt Island and get him to a nearby hospital. Once again, she and Peter Parker bond. It seems as though these two star crossed lovers have a shared destiny. One that simply cannot be denied, because it involves true love.
Despite the fact that Oscorp Industries recovered their nuclear reactor, questions remain. Their Z-99 Reactor was described as a source of clean and renewable energy. But, several company employees have wondered if that is true. Even worse, Oscorp's young owner, Harry Osborn, has been under a great deal of stress and anxiety. So much so in fact, that he has turned back to using illegal drugs. Those closest to him are left wondering where his twisted path will lead.
