Long ago, two sword were created to keep light, and dark balance with each other. If these sword is given to the wrong hands then, they would have the power of life, or death
One of the sword hold the great power of darkness. The sword name is named after Erebus, the gods of darkness and shadow. The other sword hold the power of the moon. The sword is named after the moon goddess; Selene.
But after thousands of year, some of the different kind of mythical creatures thought that they can obtain the raw power of the two sword. Theses creatures are the witches, vampires, and the warlocks.
The other mythical creatures (Werewolves, Dragons, Beast-like human, and elves) that thought that the power of the two sword should just be left alone, they all fought together against the other races to protect the two sword. The war lasted 130 years, as the wars rage on over what race should obtain the two sword. The creator of the two sword, thought that the war of fighting over with the sword has lasted long enough. So he called back the two sword, and said to all the mythical creatures on the battlefield “This war of power is over! I shall take the two sword and seal them in a shrine, where no one with a dark heart will ever get in, but the only purest hearts can enter!”
And so, with the two sword gone, the war is over.

But that of course is just a tale that the elders tell kids for bedtime stories.

or is it?

“Where there is light, there will always be shadows lurking about. Always remember that little one.”
