For almost fifteen years, four families lived at the end of Finney Court in Longmoor, North Carolina.

For fifteen years, the Metsons, Lewises, Bryers, and Cruzes have attended every sports game, every dance recital, and every poorly rehearsed theater production. Whether it was graduations, weddings, or vacations, the Finney Court families did it together.

Other than growing up across the street with parents who are best friends, Dakota Metson and Wesley Lewis have nothing in common.

But when devastating news hits Finney Court, everyone returns to Longmoor to handle it the only way they know how- together.

So actually, Dakota and Wesley have at least one thing in common.

They're both home for the summer.
