USS Ranger, The new Aircraft carrier on the block. The US Navy decided that instead of having the Ford Class replace all the Nimtz class carriers, they started a new program called the NGND (Next Generation Navel Dominance). The Class would consist of 6 carriers, the lead ship being the USS Ranger (CVN-83). And 5 ships that have yet to be named, will the Ranger-class live up to what the US Navy wants? Or will this program just be a waste of time and money?
