Most teenage girls like boy bands and shopping. Katie Fletcher likes weddings and lying. To each his own, right? Not that she shares these interests that she dedicates her life to with anyone.

While plenty of people may appreciate her fondness for weddings, next to no one would understand her need to attend one after the other without an invitation. And lying... Well lies have always had a negative connotation.

Even though fabricated stories slip effortlessly off her tongue, Katie would never use her words to cause destruction, to harm anyone. Her little white lies are what protect her.

And when Xavier Cho walks into her life, already knowing Katie better than she knows herself and revealing his own taste for lies and secrets, her heart needs all the protection it can get.
