In a land of dragons, it's weary to know that one day you can end up as food for those above, that any day a dragon can come down from the sky and decide your fate. Those who wish to survive have to be resourceful, especially when even your own kind will throw you out to be food for the wolves. When discovering a past that had been thought been long lost in the scorching, River may finally have a chance to fight back against the world, but even the most tragic consequences can be caused by good intentions.

I'll be keeping Glory in bc I don't wanna leave out our sassy Rainwing queen, and also bc plot. Of course, there will be plenty of things that will change, which you will see as the story progresses! Keep in mind that characters may act OOC (Out Of Character) to fit my writing style, so I don't want to see any of you yell at me about it. If you have a problem with this then either be nice about it or leave the book. Small heads up: This will contain spoilers for the first 5 Wings of Fire books from The Dragonet Prophecy to The Brightest Night. If you have not read those books yet I suggest you read them, but otherwise you are free to read this. Wings of Fire story! My name is Moon. I live in a world where everyone is tested. From the age sixteen to eighteen. In truth, you test yourself everyday the moment you find out what the world has come to. You test youself wondering if you're strong enough, smart enough, or brave enough. But most of all to see if you will do the right thing in the darkest times. Your eighteenth birthday is the biggest day of your life. The day you find out if you will fight, or die. Fear engulfs your body every waking moment, the very thought of death makes people lose hope, and it almost did for me too. And in those final moments, when you really don't know if you will live, you wonder, is dying now worse than living in something you hate so much. Do I live for something I despise? Or die and be done with everything? However, there are always more options. This is a Wings of Fire fan fiction! All characters belong to Tui T. Sutherland. Make sure to follow for updates.
