Of Ice and Snow
Lily is a snow witch with powerful magic and a quick temper. Not the best combination. But she keeps to herself, and the few people she lets get close know she has a good heart, and that's enough for her. She doesn't need any drama in her life. Except she never knows what to expect from her next-door neighbor, who is a mad scientist. Then there's her meddling family back at the North Pole. Minor irritations, but they may or may not trigger her blizzard-inducing rage from time to time, resulting in out-of-season snowstorms, snowbound towns, and confused meteorologists worldwide. 04Lonewolf's Short Stories
This book is essentially just a compilation of all my short stories that I've written over the last couple of years. Story titles with '🏷️' are inspired by a short story prompt or other literary work, whilst ones with '📙' are stories purely from my own imagination. Ones with '🧩' may be an excerpt from a larger story I'm working on, but can still be considered as a short story by itself. Also just letting you know in advance that I wrote quite a few of these when I was younger and they are really bad 😅. Well, even my recent ones aren't the best. All I'm saying is... these are my very rough drafts, so read at your own risk, and please be positive or feel free to (politely) point out any mistakes so I can make them better :) Enjoy! From the contest Write to Rank, a competition about action writing with challenges every week. This is my entry on the contest. Hope you enjoy it. Released : Part 1 -white belt : write a 100 words flash-fiction action about the realization of danger. The wordcount must be exactly 100 Part 2 -yellow belt : write a 500 words flash-fiction with the prompt "Dead or alive. You're coming with me." The wordcount max is 500 words Part 3 -orange belt : write an 800 words flash-fiction with dialogue between good and bad. The wordcount max is 800 words Part 4 -green belt : write a 1000-1500 words flash-fiction using the genres of action & thriller/horror. Must mostly contain active sentences and fast-paced. It has to be first person perspective. Part 5 -blue belt : write a 1000-1500 words flash-fiction using the theme "Ride or Die" with a third person perspective and the show not tell sentences. Part 6 -purple belt : write a 1000-1500 words action fantasy with a plot twist. Part 7 -brown belt : write a 2000-2500 words action + free theme and with active sentences. End with an insane cliffhanger. Part 8 -red belt : write a 3000-3500 words (continuation of the brown belt) + active sentences and fast-paced. SmackDown: Back to Our Roots
Our previous two SmackDowns were both massive successes, and it's high time for another. You might remember the last one was heavy on the "game" elements, maybe even too heavy. This time we're going back to the basics and keeping it simple. It's just a motherfuckin' sci-fi SmackDown: a heated writing contest where contestants are given text-, music- and visual-based prompts, and then they need to write a short story around that, following which they're judged for their efforts and either move on to the next round or they get eliminated from the competition. But there's gotta be some kind of twist, right? For this one we're waxing nostalgic, we're looking back into our past. We're going back to our roots.Concluída

The Fabulous Spec-Fic Smackdown
I've decided to jump into the latest smackdown hosted by LayethTheSmackDown and Ooorah. This is where I'll be posting my entries. It's been fun and challenging doing these in the past and it's good motivation to churn out some stories. I haven't managed to win one yet, but in a way that's beside the point. Hopefully I can last a few rounds, but if not, that's okay, too. Good luck to all who decide to participate!
TK Special #7 - Return to the M'Verse: An Ooorah Anthology
Each of the stories featured herein is set within a Universe of the writer's creation, while all being a part of a larger, shared Multiverse. At the Ooorah Mothership, we call this the M'Verse. Writers have free rein to tell the story they want to tell, providing it's sci-fi in nature and no more than 5000 words in length... then it's all good! There are, however, five "rules" to which all created Universes within the shared Multiverse must adhere.
