Aria wasn't exactly your run-of-the-mill angel or demon. Sure, she wasn't a sinner, but she wasn't exactly a saint either. Because of that, she wasn't necessarily a citizen of Hell or Heaven, but instead, the only inhabit of Purgatory, and was stuck there for as long as she can remember. And from what she assumed, is why she had horns and a halo. But just because she had a place to herself, doesn't mean she was happy. To add insult to injury, Purgatory wasn't exactly the ideal place to live. It was a monochromatic environment, completely void of color or life, with the only exception being the plants growing around it. She longed to be free of that limbo, to meet people, no matter if they were good or bad, and was willing to do ANYTHING to achieve her distant dream.
