For dark eons the comet of Morphis circled. After a long duration from an evil freezing spell, a ball of ice was detached away from the comet.
The frozen ball melted in a flash of boiling heat, as it entered the Earth's atmosphere.
The Morphling was reborn into life, an elemental power at one with the tides and water manipulation.
He can knock back his enemies with a bolt of water, and dissolve himself into waveform and surge wherever he wants to damage his enemies.
