"I will wait for you. I don't want anyone else." Aren Turner is an upcoming fashionista who graduated from high school with Ivory Thompson. He has attended NYU for three years and is now a senior. He is majoring in fashion. He creates trending fashion designs across Instagram and he started creating his fashion designs six years ago. One night at the bar with his friends, he meets these two cute boys. Nigel McCrae is an aspiring hockey player who wants to play in the NHL. He graduated in 2019 and took a gap year mid-college before returning to school for his business degree as a senior. He is a closeted bisexual and recently broke up with his crazy ex. Nigel comes to terms with his sexuality after hearing that Luke Prokop became the first openly gay hockey player under a contract with an NHL team. He aspires to be like him, but what happens when his crazy ex outs him to his entire team? Ryder Williams is a single father to his daughter, Armellia. His best friend and practically his sister is Kaylyn Murphy. Ryder is masculine, and most people believe he is straight when he is quite the opposite. He originally didn't intend to college, but he now attends college online. He is now a junior. At the end of high school, he got a girl pregnant while drunk. He later found out the woman did not want custody of his daughter, so he raised her with the help of Kaylyn. What happens when he is just working hard to have a good day, but they are struggling financially? The three boys all meet in a way no one would expect. Do they all help to solve each other's struggles? Or do they fall apart and break each other's hearts?

Boy meets boy. Boy mocks boy. Boy falls (a little too hard). Dior Max is all sharp edges and smoother fabrics-stylish, strategic, and emotionally unbothered. Or so he pretends. Brix Julian is a walking headache with a guitar: smug, loud, and alarmingly good at sending the wrong message. They argue. They prank. They lock eyes for too long in crowded hallways. It's not flirting-it's war. Obviously. But somewhere between the teasing and tension, Dior starts collecting hope-one red paper heart at a time. Every mixed signal? Folded. Stored. Counted. He'll confess when the jar is full. Because maybe, just maybe, Brix means it. SPOILER ALERT: he doesn't. Turns out the signals were smoke, the crush was one-sided, and the heartbreak? Custom-tailored. Chords vs. Collars. Gloss meets grit. A stylish slow-burn that stings where it shouldn't. Because the cruelest crushes don't break-they hum. ___________// ⚠ gentle heads-up! This story explores sensitive themes such as homophobia, emotional trauma, misunderstandings, and the use of strong language. Please read with care and kindness to yourself. Your heart and well-being matter most. ♡ (Note: This story is currently a work in progress and may include typos or little grammar hiccups. Thank you for your patience and love!) 🧵🎸 just a tiny disclaimer: This story is fictional. Some scenes are inspired by real moments I experienced in junior high, and a few characters are loosely based on old friends. But everything else names, places, events is purely imagined. Any similarities are purely coincidental. This is a personal story, a metaphor for a forbidden love I once had. If it feels familiar or cliché, that's not intentional. This story is mine. 🫶🏻
