After escaping from her cruel master, the half-werewolf, half-vampire Orpheus Xaldner, Chantelle found refuge in the queen's service. Her only goal was to rescue her brother and his family from Orpheus and the werewolves. To achieve this, she knew she needed the help of Prince Cazmus.

After four years, Chantelle finally found herself in Cazmus's palace, where she struck a deal with him. She offered to assist him in locating the sorcerer responsible for the spell binding him to the queen, thereby freeing him from her influence. Concurrently, they would work together to prevent Cazmus's brother, Shazer, from usurping the throne. In return, Cazmus would take the throne and liberate the humans from the domination of the werewolves, including Chantelle's beloved brother.

During their Fast paced journey, Cazmus and Chantelle develop a deep sense of trust in each other. Despite the challenges they encounter, Chantelle is determined to free her brother from the clutches of her master, Orpheus.
