Stiles is convinced that Derek hates his guts, he's slammed into walls every other day, yelled at to shut up, and is always told that "you're not strong enough" or "your only human Stiles" because well it was partially true. Yeah he is human and maybe he is weak but who needs strength when you can trick the opponent? But then you come up and say shit to me like "Stiles you are the strongest and smartest person we've got in the pack" and damn, I don't have to be a werewolf to know that your heart rate picked up that whole sentence. Every. (thump, thump) Single. (Thump, Thump) Word. (THUMP, THUMP). Louder and louder. The echo of your lies. I was never part of this damn pack. Try to tell me that I'm lying, you're the one with the super hearing. So?

No one saw the real him and he was beginning to hate everything he was and everything he was not. He needed someone who saw him, needed to be true to everyone just as much as he needed to be true to himself. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ "Stiles, we're two separate packs, you can't be apart of both!" He was getting sick of his best friends indecision and, after a long conversation, had just exploded. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ "I can't lose you, I've lost too many, you were supposed to stay, you weren't supposed to leave. He knew Stiles' feelings for him, Stiles being Stiles had gotten bored of dancing around them and just blurted it out once after a Pack Night. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ Blood coated his hands, splattered his face and dripped from his T-shirt as he stared at himself in the mirror. "How can you still love me after what I did?" ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ Stiles flailed, chair falling backwards as he did, creating a thump louder than the one that had originally scared him. The man by his window stood up, adjusting his clothing as he walked towards the younger boy whose eyes were blown wide, heart beating a mile a minute. All of his life, Stiles has had this...ability. Every time he looked at someone, he could sense how powerful they were on a scale of one to ten. Mostly, people were a five or six, and he'd only met a handful of people over that. The highest he had ever seen was an eight, so a ten was impossible, right? That's what he thought, until a dark, brooding guy walked through the doors of his high school... *This story is under light editing. A single choice changes the whole story. Stiles moved away from the flashlights and cadaver dogs as he wasn't necessarily excited to get caught by his father. He had gone the exact opposite direction of the barking and beams of light and now he was lost somewhere in the woods with Scott, his asthmatic best friend beside him. who was taking a puff from his inhaler for every third step and it was irritating to say the least. It felt like they had been wandering around for a long time, when they came across a gigantic wolf. It could have been the sighting of a Wolf in California for the first time in 60 years. He could have taken a pic to prove it but the wolf seemed to hate the idea. So they ran. They ran while bleeding from it's bites. Stiles Stilinski has always led an ordinary, quite life. His father is the sheriff and his mom is deceased so he's always alone at home. Forgive me this is my first book This is an au after season 2: The alpha pack does not exist, Jackson not leaving, Erica and Boyd alive and Peter is not as evil as everyone thought. One Night
Derek. Derek and all his broody, dark, alpha werewolf-ness, and control. Stiles and his calm-not-so-calm demeanor, snarky sarcasm, and knowledge. One slip up, on one night, can change a lot of things between the two when an alpha pack strolls into town.
