The gospel singing group Living Praise has turned a corner. They have had a few hits, but now is the time to move towards the next level.  Right Now the group is coming together better than it ever has and more opportunities are coming their way. The future truly is bright. 

BUT

Carol Mace, the great soprano in the group, is feeling the need to explore her horizons. She wants the opportunity to sing solo. And there is a new and enticing man who believes that Living Praise might be holding her back.  

Will loyalty keep her connected to the group that fostered and groomed her, or will love and self expression take her to a different avenue?

"Calm down, just calm down." He thought to himself as he tried to even out his labored breathing, it it seems to just have made it worse. His breathing became shorter and harder causing him to clutch his chest as the bitter December air seemed to attack his throat. "Ji- Hu." A soft voice rang out, though his head was still pounding. It caught his attention, "Ji-Hu, you have to calm down, take deep breathes. I promise you're okay." He didn't feel okay though, it wasn't working. "I'm trying." He gasped clenching his eyes shut, he balled up his fist hitting his chest before falling to the ground. Suddenly he stopped, everything stopped. Ji-Hu Kim or JAY is a 24 year old man living his everyday life in Chicago, Illinois. He's not satisfied but he's not complaining, however he feels that he should be doing more. Though he has no clue where to start, so he's settled for now. One fateful New Years Eve dared to change the course of his life for the better, and for the first time in his life he just might let it. Junni Sauveterre, a 21 year old woman supposedly in her 'prime.' Though she doesn't really know how true that statement is. Because frankly? she doesn't really know where she's going. But as long as God guides, she's decided to follow faithfully. She's been following Christ full heartedly for a few years and it seems to be a new lesson everyday. Not that she's complaining, maybe just a smidge. However, what happens when these two just so happen to end up in the same situation on a bitter New Years Eve night? A true struggle between black and white. Genniffer just can't seem to pick the right decision. Neither of them are the right choice. Genniffer can't get her ex boyfriend out of her head; however, she can't get his best friend out of her head either. Gen would love to go back to her ex but not after what he did to her. Her ex isn't or shouldn't be the right choice for her, but would it be the right choice to date his best friend? Would it be so wrong of her? Meanwhile, Gen deals with her crumbling family. Her brother comes home from what you could call a "Long vacation." To everyone you see smiles upon the family. But behind closed doors its a whole other struggle within itself. It is easier to choose the right choices when you're not dealing with the situation yourself. Can Genniffer handle it? Or will she find herself slipping under it all?
