Tales of Gloomsdale #7: The Endless Dance

Skye Johnson is excited to be chosen as the lead role in the ballet. But as the others doubt and mock her, she begins to consider whether it was really that great after all.

When she accidentally knocks over a hidden platform, she finds herself down in the basement of the theatre. She discovers a pair of old ballet shoes and a music box with a beautiful ballerina inside. When Skye tries on the shoes, she finds herself dancing better than ever before, and can't help taking them. Everyone is in awe of her, but she finds herself dancing just like the ballerina trapped in the music box, without being able to stop or slow down. Skye begins to wonder if being the best dancer is really worth it.
