My Wish . . .

I've only ever had one crush in my lifetime. Fortunately, she had a crush on me, too. Unfortunately, I suck; and what better way to express that than through poetry? Anyway, in this poem, I express my "heartbreak", for lack of better words, through the perspective of my crush. This is not only because it allows me to distance myself from my emotions, but also because it allows me to be unnecessarily creative while preserving the integrity of my symbolism. (I fear that, without this approach, the poem is very pretentious.)
