But what if they weren't the only ones Vander adopted? 

What if Vander had adopted a Piltover kid, whose parents just so happened to be caught in the crossfire between the two sides? 

What if seeing his parents dead in front of his eyes was too much for the boy to bear and had some... Dire effects on his mind? 

Will this change things for the better?
