Five years ago, Andrea and Alexia used the Academy to fake their deaths and change identities to escape their abusive, Irish mob boss father. What's the catch? Complete any assignment the Academy assigns, no matter how dangerous, or risk the Council exposing their true identities to the very people they are running from.

Fast forward to the present day, a typical debriefing at the Academy Hospital turns their whole team's world upside down. Can Andrea and Alexia possibly live normal lives, or will their twisted family past catch up to destroy everything they have built? What happens when Andrea and Alexia can no longer run from their past, and the Toma team is caught right in the middle?
