The sick thing about this is I empathize with the desire to write films like this - a cloying attempt at meaningful filmmaking I think folks with little experience telling stories get trapped in. I feel that lots of people probably can relate to writing something LIKE this, at some stage in their careers.The animation is solid, but I only somewhat enjoyed the story. I am not sure about the message that it sends. It was a little odd. Is the message supposed to be work your life away to reach for your dreams? Or save for the things you really want? It would have been cool if he saved up all of his nickels, paid for a college education, worked for NASA, and became the 17th person to walk on the Moon (or something like like).
