ASPENPAW WASN'T supposed to die. She knows it in her heart. And what's worse, she didn't end up in StarClan, she ended up in the Dark Forest, a place of darkness and torture. She doesn't remember anything about her life in the Clan's, except a single face.
But more and more memories are coming back to her, and the cats in the Dark Forest have a connection to her life that makes her wonder if they should even be in here.

"It's all burning," murmured the light grey she-cat with desperation "it's all burning!" she continued on repeating. "It is burning, Cloudfall." Meowed a white tom beside her, his tail resting on her back. "May StarClan light the paths of those cats, may they be safe in their paws." He whispered with awe and sympathy. Everyone swoons over her, sympathising with her, caring for her, when all she wants is for cats not to do that, to listen. However, when StarClan tell her of this evil, she may get the chance to prove herself to everyone. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her. Disclaimer: This is a completely different world with completely different clans. This fan-book is based off of the book series "Warriors" by Erin Hunter. Since this is based off of Warriors, there will be mild violence in this book. All the characters and the setting of this story is my original work while the rest (like the way how Clans and warrior traditions work, etc.) belong to Erin Hunter. "BEWARE THE BURNING ONE, ELSE ALL WILL FALL." Cats have been living in Clans on three islands for uncountable generations. ValleyClan has been struggling to survive in the past few moons as their enemies grow more powerful. CaveClan is becoming more of a threat and prey has become scarce as leaf-bare comes, but a young apprentice by the name of Darkpaw lets her own curiosity get the better of her to help her Clan-and maybe, just maybe she's the warrior ValleyClan has been looking for. NOTICE (so people won't bother me about them): I had not read past "The Prophecies Begin" when I wrote the prologue, chapter 1, and chapter 2 so you may seem some characters with names that already exist. Also, some cats' appearances may be based off of domesticated cats, are unrealistic, or don't follow the rules of cat genetics. I am aware that regular warrior cats are wild cats, but when I initially made these designs, I got so used to them that I am not encouraged to redesign them. But hey, this is a fictional story! Multiple things in this book may not be accurate to the traditional way of warrior life (due to me not remembering how it works).
