Hello. I am a new author. For now I will go by Veiled Sky.

I know that my story doesn't have art yet, but I will pay for that if people end up liking it. Feedback is not only appreciated, but the entire reason I am sharing this passion project with everyone. Give me all the criticism, mean and nice.

First chapter is quite long. It is to be thought of as a pilot. It has its own self contained plot, but is related to and will lead into the rest of the tale. Please have fun with this. You do not have to read it in one sitting. If you do, great. But take it as you will.

For a small synopsis of the first chapter, it follows the main character, Dust, and his fate encounter with Rosè. Rosè is a girl of high standards, and despite Dust's attitude and gloomy looks, she sees something in him, and wont let him get away. She leads him through the lavish streets of Durham, slowly peeling back the veil over the town, and revealing its underside.
