In the far reaches of a distant future, humanity has long broken free from the confines of Earth. With the stars now within reach, colonies spread across planets, moons, and entire systems. Science and medicine have advanced beyond ancient limitations, and through the revolutionary CRISPER Program, human lifespans stretch far longer than ever before though mortality remains an inevitable truth. But with progress comes conflict. Newly discovered resources hidden throughout the galaxy ignite political tension and territorial greed. Old rivalries flare anew as factions, governments, and corporations clash for control of the wealth scattered among the stars. While countless citizens choose neutrality and cling to peaceful lives within the growing sprawl of civilization, not everyone avoids the chaos. For mercenaries, warlords, pirates, and scavengers, the universe is a battleground and a marketplace. Danger lurks behind every contract, every derelict ship, every shadowed asteroid belt. Yet for those willing to risk everything, the rewards are higher than ever. In this age of expansion and unrest, fortune favors the bold... and the desperate. Some fight for survival. Some fight for power. But many fight simply because in this new era, danger is money.
