Mallory Nhyira doesn't feel normal. She doesn't like to be around people, is always reading, and feels like there's no meaning to life. But everything changes when her family moves to Hillen and attends the famous Eisenhower High School, a former military academy turned public school where her father attended school. The school operates by placing students in based on both their grades and public image, and because Mallory is low on both of those things, she is placed in class 3-D, a place for students of low class families, underperformers, and least popular students. But class 3-D is not an ordinary class, it's a military class that trains their students into becoming soldiers. Now Mallory has to adjust to her new school and become a soldier.

Completed. Jean Harris is a seventeen-year old girl who wants to make her best friend, Ronald Stark, fall in love with her. She's been in love with him for five years and their close relationship gives her hope that they can move to the next level at the right time. However, Ron confesses about his sexual orientation: he is gay and he likes Ryan Wilson, a popular but withdrawn guy in their high school. Ron turns to Jean for a favor; he wants her to help him know more about Ryan and slowly worm his way into his heart. Jean is against the whole thing, but helps her best friend nonetheless.
