Take a train ride back to the era of the flapper with miss Charlotte Belérouge and her journalism dreams, south to the riverside city of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Tired of the pomp and show of her family in Chicago, our charming Belle is desperate to see Prohibition from a different light-or rather, underground-and New Orleans seems like the perfect place to start.

However, she soon realizes that the Crescent City has a hidden dark side, full of secrets and wonders, deeper and murkier then the river she sits on...and as whispers rise and circulate, Charlotte learns of a much darker magic then that of her natural charm.

And so, with the unearthing of disappearances old and new, our Belle must don the role of a pragmatic detective to uncover the connection between the present and the tragic tale of a young man, long dead...but by no means forgotten.
