Of Amber Feathers and Blue Flames

"So you mean to tell me, that I was the third suitor of the saintess, who was never supposed to take a lover, in a novel from another world who ended up dying after the "villainess", who was possessed by someone from another world, killed me alongside my bes friend and his cousin and I came coming back to life as the "final boss" of this novel? Are you messing with me?" The black haired boy asked the crystal orb in his hand. "ℙ𝕣𝕖𝕔𝕚𝕤𝕖𝕝𝕪." A voice responded with an indifferent tone.

Silence enveloped the room as the young boy blinked slowly. "𝕃𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖 𝕣𝕦𝕟𝕥?" The voice asked as the grip of the boy on the orb tightens. Then the boy exclaimed loudly, "DO YOU THINK I'M AN IDIOT!? THAT SOUNDS LIKE A MADE UP STORY!" The boy threw the orb at the ground, only for the surprisingly sturdy and bouncy orb to, well, bounce back onto the boy's face, hitting his nose.

Dior Carlisle was just an orphan found by the archmage outside the magic tower. Taking pity of the baby left at their doorstep, the archmage took him in as his adoptive son and apprentice. Living as the only child in the magic tower, Dior has always been exposed to magic. Which leads to his father to give him a crystalline orb with instructions for Dior to find a way to make it work. Safe to say, he did succeed only to be told that the entire world he lives in is a novel, in which he's destined to die as the most dangerous villain in the future.

Surely the orb was just messing with him or he finally went crazy after being stuck in the magic tower most of his time, right?
