In honour of the lives lost during the rebellion, the Capitol hosts an annual event to recall the strength of their power weighted against those of the twelve districts of Panem. Two tributes of each, one boy and one girl, anywhere from twelve to eighteen years old are sold off to placate the fury of a grudge from over seventy years ago. Each of them must do whatever it takes to come out the last man standing.

Lenore Dove is no fighter. Her soft voice and steady hands are home to a healer ━ her only interaction with violence is that which absolves her of it. Leading a steady life of little rebellions against the system, Lenore hasn't had to resort to violence just yet. That is, until the names are called, and the odds are not in her favour. Amongst the field of warriors and other deadly things the Capitol has to offer watch children kill each other with, there are choices to be made; ones that trade humanity for survival.

It's the arena of the event. Set in the identical rendition of the ruins in the lost city of District Thirteen, tributes will go forth to dissect a terrifyingly unique terrain of adversaries, each attesting to the demise of its origins. Twenty-four tributes enter. Only one makes it out. May the best tribute win, and with that, ladies and gentlemen....
