The King's Gambit
Election season is fast approaching. Nathaniel Thirdy Ocampo, a journalist known for his mind-blowing exposés, has been tasked with following around USC President Saint Amadeus Salvacion to gain information regarding his upcoming reelection bid. But Nathaniel saw this opportunity as the perfect time for him to expose his academic rival, Santi---more like tainting his so-Saint image---so that he could immediately cut him off the race of being the university's running valedictorian. In his three years of service as a campus journalist, Nathaniel knows very well that no person has no secrets, and he is going to give his all to unveil the curtains that are keeping USC from the eyes of the student body.
Will Nathaniel violate the ethics of being a journalist to feed his hunger for revenge? Will he succeed in snatching the 4th presidential streak of Santi as USC President, or will he dismiss the raging emotional threat and just... do his job properly without unearthing the fact that Santi is making the biggest and boldest King's gambit?
