Running away from home felt like the only choice Riley Johnson had. Her foster parents abused her and made her life seem almost like a living hell. For six years, she stayed. She was afraid of her foster parents as they were like devils from hell. They tried to drown her, stab her and do any possible actions to kill Riley.
Running away would either kill her, or make her stronger.
Her goal was to find her father, make him realize that he had made a wrong decision to put her in the orphanage.
