From a broken home, Kieran has to cope with the death of his mother, while also being beaten by his own dad to ensure the safety of his siblings. But the beatings don't stop there. He goes to school and is beaten. Bruises and scars that (mentally) will never heal... Aspen comes from a home of drug addicts and is determined to be the only one in her family to graduate. Her brother has the tendency to make a fool of Aspen and she struggles with mental heath problems from a young age. She goes to school and is treated 10 times worse. She has struggled to even walk through the halls without sly comments about her weight, everyone of them known she has struggled with eating disorders...
