"Like working with you, Inola? Please." he scoffs, a few strands of his dark brown hair falling over his eyes.

"You love it, come on, Gavin, accept it." He looks at me, and pauses what he's doing.

"How about we move on?"

"Never."

He sighs. "Fine. Inola, I love working with you. Happy?"

I stiffen for a second, jaw slowly dropping, cheeks slowly reddening. He chuckles, "If you can't deal with that much, Inola, you've really fallen for me. Bad."

When murders start occurring in the town Inola Reynes lives in, she's curious and scared. She may be a new recruit of her town's Society of Magic-Wielders, but she's still 19, with a lot more to know about the world she lives in.

And when Gavin Xander arrives newly at the town, with hopes of solving the murders, he finds it extremely hard to get rid of the bothersome Inola, who's trying very hard to help him. He might just have to allow her to work with him, as long as it stops her relentless badgering...

There have been two murders so far, but there are many more to come...
