The Great War. The war to end all wars is coming to a close. On the 11th of November at 11 o'clock the war came to an end. 4 years of fighting is over.
America and France have been long standing allies having fought side by side in the great the war.

In Elysia with the opening of the eye of terror and the portals to the depths of hell the gods decide that a nation or multiple would be needed to be summoned to die in the dark so the world could live in the light.

So as celebrations continue across the remaining months of 1918 two massive storms roll forward and blanket France and the US. Both nations thus dissapeared from the world.

The two nations the Eagle and the Rooster now find themselves in a battle for survival with the war torn France and the Idealistic America now standing side by side as the forces of hell come crashing down on them without warning.

For France and America it is like the end times are here while for the nations of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd civilized regions lay blissfully unaware of the horrors just several thousands of miles away. With the end seemingly near France and America begin their long struggle for survival.

This is a darker Nihonkoku Shoukan story. This is a story of survival, struggle, desperation, ww1 soldiers fighting off demonic hordes and fighting horrors beyond comprehension. It a Dark world for the two countries but it's one worth fighting for.

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

In a distant realm where magic thrives, ferocious beasts shake mountains and rivers with their mighty roars, and individuals wield superhuman strength capable of reshaping their surroundings. It is a magical world where the strong rules. But rampant corruption and chaos exist, where slavery, rape, murder, and discrimination against the weak were all but common. The magically superior people trample over the lesser unfortunate folks, using them as stepping stones and disposable assets. All hope for these downtrodden souls seems lost, but the wheels of fate have other plans for them. In a faraway ocean, one that is filled with demons and sea monsters, a great technological civilization suddenly appeared, one that came from a world that is only filled with chaos and destruction. This civilization became the heaven for people seeking a stable and peaceful life. The Earth rose and seas parted ways, and the environment had totally changed for its adaptability. Unfortunately, the inhabitants of this great technological civilization are all but manaless, arriving in a world where they are seen as inferior and as slaves. How will they react of finding themselves in a world where people can split mountains or bend the fabric of space, and where beings exist that even conventional weapons cannot defeat? How will they survive against deadly monsters, magical beasts, and superhumans that could threaten entire nations? And how will the other powers that exist in this world react to a powerful, advanced nation filled with a race they deem inferior? This is the story of one of the most powerful empires on Earth, and how it broke the balance of power and rose to the top.

The world is dying. Heaven and Hell have broken and collapsed, creating a post-apocalyptic landscape that is part purgatory, part platonic world of ideas, blighted by the horrors of the human mind. The sun lies dormant in the east, atop God's tower, while the west is plunged into darkness and haunted by all that lives there. There is no day and night cycle, nothing grows, nothing dies, nothing changes, unless magic is involved. Angels hunt creatures for their blood, to feed it to God so he can finish gestating. Demons kill and destroy aimlessly, their origins inexplicable and unknown. Stranger beings wander the ruins of what's left of the world. Humans need not eat or sleep, caught in a state between life and death. They cannot die or be born naturally, but they can be killed and they can be made. The few that survived with their sanity somewhat intact have locked themselves into warded cities, but their protections are feeble and often ineffective. The Order that united them is long gone, broken into factions known only by the sins for which they have fallen. The Houses that protected them are crumbling, falling into ruin as their members were culled down by angels and demons, as well as their own mad quest to save the world; the Pilgrimage, a vain attempt to steal into Eden and murder God himself. Soon, only the Scions will remain. Those that were left not due to merit, but because they were the last choice for being heroes. Those whose memories and minds are as damaged and eaten through as their world. Those who agreed to take on the mysterious Archons within their bodies and, through that contract, had ancient relics and rituals passed down to them. They converge onto a long forgotten neutral ground, trying to save themselves. A heroic journey through a nightmarish wonderland. A pilgrimage to God's tower, to make the world whole again. To cleanse the world of the horrors infecting it. To kill the God who will doom them all with his birth.

The world is a lie. Beneath the fractured skies of Drakeland, where diesel fumes choke the air and magnetic leviathans hum with stolen power, a truth festers in the shadows. The earth below, they say, is a wasteland-a graveyard of ash and radiation. But the edge whispers otherwise. A nameless narrator, broken and bleeding, scrawls their final testament in the dark. They speak of floating continents, of ships the size of empires, and of an unholy pact forged in the blood of the forgotten. The dream, they say, is not a dream. It is a warning. A beacon. A call from something ancient, something that breathes in the void between stars. The Rats, a revolutionary group in the underbelly of this rotting world, their sigil a skeletal hand clutching a rat's skull, a candle's flame flickering against the dark. They seek the truth, guided by cryptic messages woven into hymns, tapestries, and the whispers of the dead from a Saint who may not be a Saint. A Ghost who may not be a Ghost. But beware, for the Crown watches. The Emperor, ageless and unyielding, smiles as his dogs hunt the desperate. The King, a pig in gilded robes, feasts on the suffering of the weak. And the children-vanish into the night, their screams swallowed by the machinery of progress. This is not a story of heroes. It is a chronicle of the damned, of those who claw at the edges of a crumbling world, seeking answers they may not survive to find. The dream is coming. The eyes are watching. And when the veil falls, you will wish you had never awakened. Prokolev is a tale of cosmic dread and crumbling empires, where the line between savior and monster blurs, and the truth is a weapon sharper than any blade. Do you dare to remember?

Into The Trenches: A World War I Journal [2019]

11 parts Complete

It is 1914, and Henry Anderson is watching the world descend into war. Like many young men at the time, he is fascinated by the idea of warfare and glory. Henry enlists in the military against his parents' wishes and throws himself into the life of a British soldier in Flanders. But it is far from what he expects: Henry's fantasies of righteous battle fade into the grim reality of gruesome death and shell-shock. He and his fellow soldier Jacob must help each other survive the cruel trenches, but it is no longer certain that either of them will return to England alive. Told in journal entries and letters from Henry's sister Elizabeth, this reveals the realities and horrors of World War I, on the battlefield and in the homefront. I wrote this for a history project while studying WWI and got way too involved in it, so here you are. WARNINGS: gun/bomb/gas-related violence, war descriptions, graphic death, suicide attempt. I will mark specific chapters with warnings and give summaries of those chapters on the following one. These may not be complete, so if a chapter is not marked and should be, please comment to let me know. Written in 2019 (age 15).
