The Great War. The war to end all wars is coming to a close. On the 11th of November at 11 o'clock the war came to an end. 4 years of fighting is over.
America and France have been long standing allies having fought side by side in the great the war.

In Elysia with the opening of the eye of terror and the portals to the depths of hell the gods decide that a nation or multiple would be needed to be summoned to die in the dark so the world could live in the light.

So as celebrations continue across the remaining months of 1918 two massive storms roll forward and blanket France and the US. Both nations thus dissapeared from the world.

The two nations the Eagle and the Rooster now find themselves in a battle for survival with the war torn France and the Idealistic America now standing side by side as the forces of hell come crashing down on them without warning.

For France and America it is like the end times are here while for the nations of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd civilized regions lay blissfully unaware of the horrors just several thousands of miles away. With the end seemingly near France and America begin their long struggle for survival.

This is a darker Nihonkoku Shoukan story. This is a story of survival, struggle, desperation, ww1 soldiers fighting off demonic hordes and fighting horrors beyond comprehension. It a Dark world for the two countries but it's one worth fighting for.

Sixteen years ago, my sisters and I moved from France to the United States to live the American dream. Not long after, I met Declan, a marine who was home for his mother's funeral. He was my everything, my world, and the love of my life. Four and a half years later, I became his fiancée. Then, when I thought everything was going well, my world ended when I awoke to him gone. No note, no nothing. He was just gone. I waited days, weeks, and months to hear from him and for his return. That never happened. Then, I met Chadwick, who took the pieces of my broken heart and put them back together. He promised me many things during our dating years, guaranteeing he'd give me the world. And he was. Then, after years of not wanting to give my entire heart to him, fearing he'd do what Declan had done, I pushed the fear of him leaving me aside and married him. The night we married, instead of giving me the world he promised, I was gifted a nightmare. For over six years, I lived in a lake of fire. If I wasn't locked in a dark, cold room for days on end, day and night, I was tormented, punished, abused, and tortured in the blackest darkness until I could no longer see, talk, or move. Maltreating me until he broke me. Finally, one of my prayers was answered when an ally close to Chadwick helped me escape the prison of hell. She flew me out of New York and brought me to her friend's home in Mobile, Alabama, where I got the shock of my life. He wasn't just her "friend." He was a ghost from my past, and now I'm in his care. Oh, and he has a child nearly as old as our breakup.

"Elves of the Northern Vale" A Tundrawolf Story by TRWright1

As happened many times in the past the Fell Ice once again charged down from the north and attacked the world in its effort to turn it into a frozen ball of ice. Only the White Magic and it's ally the Sun could stand against such a vast enemy. From their home in the Valley of the Sun the great tribe of Elves could only watch as the monumental fight unfolded. As the battle intensified and the valley became threatened the tribe separated back into their four original tribes and each made their way back to their ancestral homes. Within their Vales, behind thick stone walls and under powerful domes of magic, they were protected from the onslaught upon the earth. The Elves watched for thousands upon thousands of turns as the war raged overhead. The Fell Ice against the Sun and the White Magic were locked in a struggle lasting for an age, with neither side claiming victory as the earth was ravaged. In time the Fell Ice retreated, as it had so many times in the past. Beaten, yet not defeated, only biding it's time for the next attack. It returned to its frozen Kingdom at the Top of the World, thus ending this last Age of Ice. This time, as the earth warmed around them, the Elves remained secluded from the world in their hidden Vales. They observed from afar life returning to the lands and took stock of man becoming the dominant ones as their numbers grew and spread. As the Elves watched they felt safe and secure in their Vale strongholds. They had no idea of the danger that was about to befall them. This is a stand-alone sequel to my story "Druids Bane".

Long ago 555 years ago a great disaster stroke Earthland. Nearly all life was destroyed those years ago between the battle of good and evil. This war broke out with dark, evil and unknown creatures that could turn other races dark and evil along with them. Low level and class creatures were killed by normal weapons but Class C and higher were only killed by ten great weapons made so long ago. Those weapons were the Fairies Gifts. Long ago 561 years ago a young Fairy along with the Queen of Fairies and the Queen of Dragons came up with the idea of making the Fairies Gifts, great weapons that could pure and heal the turned people and kill the high class creatures. These weapons were made in a long six year battle with the weapons with the same welders who all joined together in the Fairy Gift team as the weapons had their own thoughts, voices and lifes. The weapons were picky and would chose their welders as they ended up picking all Fairies as their original welders. One second they was winning the war with evil until that great disaster. After 555 years some parts of races like elves, demons, angels, nekos, humans, dragons were able to live the one race that truly got wiped out in that event was the Fairies themselves. Small parts of these races lived. 555 years and six cities were made with powerful magic shields, fighters and mages to protect them. No one really knew what happened so many years ago but with what parts of history everyone knew they blamed Fairies for letting or even helping evil win but what happened when the new welders find a crystal with a person trapped in it? What if that person had the missing Tenth weapon? What if this person was the last of her kind.....The last Fairy. Becoming a ghaisgeach of the Comhairle-Chlaidheamhan was not an easy task though. It meant going against the wishes of his family. It meant being willing to sacrifice himself because it was his duty to do so. It meant putting his trust in strangers, and none were stranger than the woman that Tancred, the ghaisgeach Chief, wanted to partner him with... Deothas didn't need a partner. She didn't need to follow the rules and she certainly wasn't about to put her faith in anyone else. Why should she, when her 'brothers' and 'sisters' of the Comhairle-Chlaidheamhan didn't have faith in her? She was a loner, by choice and because she was the last of her people in the mortal realm. She was the fey-born, the only non-bhampair warrior in the Council of Swords. She was a mistake. They didn't want her and she'd taken all she needed from them already. Why would she want to babysit a new recruit? The council needs it's warriors to work together... even those who stole their positions. Unfortunately for some, both trust and love are far more terrifying prospects than war.
