Charlotte Sinclair has grown up familiar to the bustling crowds of paddocks. She is no stranger to the roaring engines or checkered flags. Charlotte has always thrived in grand prix stadiums-especially the ones where her father stood on the podium's top step. 
    
    But, to put it simply, Charlotte-better known as Charlie-isn't a kid anymore. The girl grew away from the world of racing to follow a dream that was once her mother's. A dream that crumbled the great relationship she once had with her father faster than a red flag. 
    
    That was 5 years ago, now at 23 years old, Charlie finds herself in quite the predicament when her godfather shows up at the door, bearing the news of her father's tragic passing. 
    
    A legacy is only as good as the next generation makes it. Charlie has always known that her father's legacy would end with her. That is until one drunken night when the girl stumbles right into the lap of a certain papaya heartthrob.
