About a year or two after the shenanigans of..well, spoilers. Red had went back to Mt. Silver again to train, about a year before this story started, and ended up MISSING. just wow. Green and Blue decided to meet up on the Sevii Islands first to see if there was any clues about his disappearance there, and, they meet a past friend. 
Meanwhile, Gold, Crystal & Silver are also trying to figure out the case, what happens? WHO. KNOWS.

Frequently Asked Questions: Q - What's special about this fanfiction? A - The books have an architectured story, from mysteries to time travel. From being awfully childish to brutally mature. Also, the protagonist ages. Q - Who are the Main Protagonists and the rivals? A - Red, a character from the Pokemon Video Games is the main protagonist along with his best friend Leaf. Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does. The character mostly appears in flashbacks but is an important character.

Upon losing the Kalos league Ash returns home to find a site he didn't expect, most of his prior traveling companions betraying him. With his girlfriend Serena and his Pokemon by his side and knowing his mother still believes in him, he leaves to the Aloha region. Five years later the world champ decides he's ready to retire and a tournament is being held in the Aloha region to decide the new world champion. Ash, now the Aloha champion, will compete to become the next world champion, as well as get some payback against those who betrayed him, and those who made his mother suffer just to get to him. This is the second installment in the 'Pokémon Red' series. Red, a 10-year-old Pokémon Trainer, after rejecting the oppurtunity to become the Viridian City Gym Leader must continue his quest of becoming a Pokémon Master to the Johto Region. Here he will be met with similar challenges, mainly - Team Rocket. Frequently Asked Questions: Q - This book has a crossover? A - The book crosses over with @Bossun24 's Pokemon Leaf Chronicles for 6 chapters. The crossover had been planned 1 year prior to its publishing. Q - Why is Leaf replaced by Lyra? A - Leaf is not replaced by Lyra, both characters are different in their own ways. I wanted to get Leaf out of the picture for a different kind of character growth. Lyra is Red's cousin sister, with Red being an experienced trainer, he acts like a mentor to her. Q - So time travel happens in this one? A - It does, and its fun how it plays out. Q - Who is this Masked Man? There was a masked man in the manga too. A - While the idea was original, a mystery man who structures every Team Rocket plan and assists Giovanni. I was shocked to see that the manga had someone named "Masked Man" as well. Q - Who is this Masked Man? And why is he important? A - A mystery man controlling every aspect of a criminal organisation and has been the true mastermind of Giovanni's every plan? Sounds pretty important to me. As for his identity, I was very unsure if I was ever going to reveal it as it was not very important at first until the second book was coming to an end.
