Raised by the great Odysseus and Queen Penelope as their own, Ray grew up surrounded by warriors, whispers, and war-but never answers.
For years, he dreamed of a battle between two powerful women-one cloaked in starlight, the other crowned in flame. He never understood why their fight felt like a memory.
Now, at just eighteen, Ray is no longer a boy left behind. Hidden within the belly of a wooden horse, he prepares to enter the city of Troy. The war to end all wars has begun... and so has the unraveling of everything he thought he knew.
When his duel with Prince Hector awakens something inside him-something not human, not mortal-Ray becomes a spark in the storm the gods had long tried to extinguish. But fate does not forget. And it does not forgive.
