Not much comes as a surprise when your life work is tied with the supernatural. For N, hunting down unusual instances they called "Oddities" to keep the general peace of the Earth came easy. 

But how does a paranormal detective deal with the mundanity a young teenage boy brings when he launches into their life? Especially one who is inexplicably immune to their standard memory wipe?

Some of the doesn't even consider it as secrets, it is as clear as what you see but nobody cares until everyone really does care. But... why do they care? why do you all sudden care? I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people.
