Tyler, Tristian, and David had been best friends ever since they started high two years ago. One night when the three boys were exploring Mako Island while on a camping trip, they discovered the infamous moon pool that Cleo, Emma, and Rikki had discovered 15 years earlier. After the boys swim in the moon pool at the exact moment the full moon crosses over the pool their lives are transformed forever as 
they will now be transformed into mermen every time they touch water.
