I look around only to find out, they're all laughing. They're laughing at ME.
So, I do what any normal person would do in this situation.
I knee him in the groin.
Pause. Rewind. I wish that's what I did. Instead, I find myself standing up. Tears sting the back of my eyes, threatening to fall out, but I ignore them. Not now, Fawn, not here. I keep my head up high and avoid eye contact as I turn towards the door.
I don't remember much after that. All I know is that I find myself in front of his door and I'm hesitating. Tears are streaming down my face, snot is starting to fall, and I can't breathe. I bring my hand to his door and Knock. Knock. Knock.
I wait, trying to calm myself down. I count the seconds in between each breath. Inhale. 1, 2, 3, 4. Hold. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Exhale. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5-
The door swings open.

Fawn Hart is a senior in high school with insecurities the size of a blue whale and only one friend. Her infatuation with her old childhood friend, Jackson Whinery, does not help with this at all, as he is constantly bullying her for her looks. After meeting Colton, she finds herself becoming someone new; a better version of herself. She's the sunshine and he's the grump.
Colton Cyprus is new to town and has no interest in making any friends except for the one he already has. That is, until he meets Fawn, who intrigues him by the way she acts. He helps her find her worth and lets her be who she truly is around him. He's the grump and she's the sunshine.

"Okay, you know what? You're such a jackass and I never should have kissed you," I say. Colton stands up. His green eyes are just as angry as mine are. "Then why did you?" he asks. "I don't know!" I yell. "Why did you kiss me back?" "Hey, you kissed me," Colton says. "We already established that! God! It's like talking to a wall. Whatever I say just fucking bounces right off of you!" I yell. It's not your fucking business!" I pause. "Why do you even care? You're just some manwhore, right? A fuckboy?" Colton laughs dryly. "Is that what you think I am?" he asks. He takes a step closer to me. I'm two seconds away from kissing him again. Andy Reed-Collins has never fit in. With both of her parents being doctors, she's grown up in the hospital and has more friends there than she does at her high school. But I carry a heavy past around my shoulders and when those two familiar people threaten me with Havens life, I'm stuck between choosing his happiness or mine. My parents make me feel like I can't have Haven West. And if I'm being honest, even I don't know if I can have him. But he calls me his special person. He's my special person. Haven West. The only thing I've ever cared about was hockey and the people that raised me. I grew up with parents that held a knife to my neck and destroyed my image of happiness. When she moved in, I hated it. When a month passed by, I couldn't help but take her out on a night drive, smiling at how tight she holds me. There's no one like her. She was the one that made me laugh because of how fucking silly she is. She saw me when all I've ever wanted was for my parents to love me. I fucked myself up getting attached to her. Because now, I'm addicted to her. I'm a smiling bastard whenever she's around. I'm broken and never believed in love but I can't let her go because she's what I would describe heaven to be like. Avery and Xander are absolutely crushing crazy with each other. Of course everyone else sees it but them. Their misscommunication is driving both Jade and James crazy. One day when they're seated together for an assignment they both can't take it anymore and come up with a plan to get their idiots together. Well more likely a deal.
