In a world of futuristic technology where work is no longer necessary, people are rewarded for their morals instead. Depending on what benefits society more, is how you are merited. People are paired based on their moral attributes and put in a simulation together for the whole world to see. They are put through rigorous and traumatic tests that test themselves to find if they are true heros, or monstrous villains.

Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people.
