Divergent FanFic (Eric Coulter x Romance)

Dove Walker is a quiet girl from Amity. Though she's from the peaceful, and joyful faction, her life is anything but. She lives with her parents, Jennifer and Benjamin Walker, while their family may put up a happy front, it doesn't make up for the bruises she is hiding under her sleeves.

Dove had always wanted to leave. She loves her home, and most importantly her mom. But she would never leave her with that pig of a man... her father.

Days before the choosing ceremony, her mother shared the most unexpected information, that was life changing. 

I was the daughter of Abnegation leader, Marcus Eaton.

Little does she know the discoveries that will unfold ahead. The truth of her family, her aptitude test, and the choosing ceremony... and him. 

He's so intriguing, mysterious, he's a jackass. And she's quiet, shy, innocent.

But opposites attract... right?

No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong?
