Broken Ghost

A ghost of a person a whisper of memories. The moment Michael Zander set eyes on the woman he once loved he knew this could either go very good or very bad. Although more likely the later considering she's his patient at the hospital.

Enid POV

"Uuuuuuugh! I'm so sick of this shiiiit" I groan loudly looking at the pills in the tiny cup in his hand.

"I wouldn't be giving you these if they weren't necessary. So would you stop being stubborn and take the damn meds" Michael states bluntly with a pointed look.

I take a deep breath shifting under his gaze. Ain't no way in hell I'm gonna let him know what he STILL does to me. 7 years and this damn man still has such a hold on me.

I hold his gaze watching His dark pools swirling like a flickering flame. "Fine. I'll take them. Just as soon as you...make me. Dooooc" I drawl out the last word with a smile.

With a sigh Michael stalks to me before bending down until I can feel his breath fanning my neck.

"You...are playing with fire babe. I suggest you take the damn meds before that monitor goes off and all the people out there come into here to see what the fuss is" he whispers placing the small cup in my hand.

I glance at the monitor as the steady beeping quickens giving me away. "Fuck" I mutter quickly pouring the medicine in my mouth I swallow hard refusing any relief from the cup of water in front of me. "I took it happy?" I snap hiding my face that's got to be the color of a damn tomato.

"good girl" Michael smirks pulling away and tossing the cup before throwing a wink over his shoulder and walking out of the room.

I grab the pillow from behind my head and chunk it at the door scowling as it lands with a thud.
